Book an Indian Jazz Fusion Band
Melodic Intersect brings tabla, sitar, and jazz piano together for concerts, festivals, and private events. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, the band has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Joe’s Pub in New York, and at venues across Maryland, New York, New Jersey and Minnesota.
Formats
The core trio — Enayet Hossain (tabla), Hidayat Khan (sitar), and Greg Hatza (piano and Hammond organ) — is the foundation of every performance, with an adjustable lineup of up to seven musicians available for larger stages, drawing on the same roster of collaborators heard across the band’s discography (guitar, santoor, sarangi, vocals, and additional percussion).
